back in time

My final school year at chief SW Nhlapho secondary school, Mpumalanga

I matriculated in 2013 at chief SW Nhlapho secondary school which is situated in Dundonald,Mpumalanga , a small under developed rural area that offers no real opportunities for prosperity in life. The only way for one to forge a better life there is to seek education and fortunate enough for the community the area has more than enough schools for all the children and there is also  one college. However, about a third of these schools are short of the necessary equipment to teach, moreover, the quality of teaching and learning there is rather inferior to what i would articulate as quality education.for instant, i was in a science class but have never done an experiment because our school did not have the apparatus for that. this is part of the reason why you will find more poor people with poor matric results in our area.To conclude, our area is in reality poor and life is hard there.

below are the subjects that i did and managed to pass well in matric:
Siswati home language
English first additional language
Afrikaans second additional language
Life orientation
Mathematics
Physical sciences
Life sciences
Geography

In doing all these subjects at my school no educational technology was used for either teaching or learning, not because we didn't know to use it but because there was none. even though we did we have a computer laboratory to us as it was still as though we didn't have one because it had no internet connections and it was always closed.

  2. the area that your school is situated shows that there are places in South Africa where there is less development in terms of infrastructure therefore the government of South Africa still has a lot of work to do. anyways u have good vision about life because you want to prosper through education, you not waiting for the government to do it all for you. Work hard and be a role model or inspiration to your school and community maybe you can even be able to donate computers for your school to improve the quality of education for everyone.

  4. your school is situated in the rural areas of South Africa which are still under developed but your school is continuing to produce those good results which are needed in South Africa.Despite lacking resources as you know that the government of South Africa does not fully support the school which are located in villages but you excelled in your school work like those children who are in private schools and continue to keep the good work up.

  5. Mr Dladla you have proven without any doubts that a person's past doesn't determine his/her future. you have proven that a man's success is not determine by apparatus, technology or his place of birth but it is determine by his hard work, commitment and dedication to what he is doing.
